Belinda Mason CF MSc. BSc. (Hons.) GMBPsS
BPS Accredited Psychologist and ADHD Assessor
As a British Psychological Society–accredited Psychologist, my work centres on Trauma Therapy, ADHD Assessment, ADHD Coaching, and the wider support of neurodivergent individuals. My approach integrates evidence-based practice with a deep respect for lived experience, ensuring compassionate, effective care for those navigating complex emotional or occupational demands.
I am a Winston Churchill Fellow (2018), my international research explored both innovative and established methods for supporting people routinely exposed to trauma in their work or environment. This experience continues to shape my commitment to improving psychological safety and wellbeing across diverse professional settings.
My work extends globally, partnering with individuals and organisations to develop safe and effective peer-support programmes. This includes co-authoring and delivering the National Police Wellbeing Service’s Police Peer Support model, which is now embedded across UK policing.
The contributions I have made to trauma, wellbeing, and neurodiversity have been recognised by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), and I have worked directly with The National Police Wellbeing Service (Oscar Kilo). I am also honoured to hold an “Inspiration to Others” Award from the Disabled Police Officer’s Association — recognition that reflects my ongoing dedication to fostering inclusion, resilience, and meaningful change.
Today, my practice remains grounded in supporting both individuals and organisations to understand themselves more fully, regulate more effectively, and move forward with confidence — particularly those within the neurodivergent and ADHD communities, whose strengths, challenges, and stories I am deeply committed to championing.
